Gaming with Your Significant Other: Valentine's Day Edition

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and we’re here to prep you for the big day. Figuring out what to play with your significant other is important, the game needs to be engaging and exciting for the both of you, whether you’re beginners or gaming experts. We’re about to disclose what we think are some of the best games for couples to play together this Valentine’sDay. So, grab your partners and plug in your controllers, let’s play!

 It Takes Two

The first one that comes to mind has to be It Takes Two. Husband and Wife characters May and Cody who are at first living a very normal life, have been unexpectedly transformed into tiny figurines. They are aiming to get back to reality by completing a load of challenges and obstacles. You and your partner will get the full gaming experience, your characters can fly, swing, jump and swim during creative and exciting gameplay whilst saving their relationship at the same time. The challenges are easier to overcome if you are in sync with your partner, encouraging a fun experience where you work together to get to a rewarding ending. It Takes Two is available on PC, Playstation and Xbox.

 Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime

 We don’t think there is a more perfectly themed game forValentines day! Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime tests whether couples can use their devotion and love to conquer all and defeat evil forces of Anti-Love that live on a neon Galaxy. This game allows couples to work together to navigate their way through the spaceship and ultimately to save the world. It’s a simple game with a great message for this time of year. If you like the thought of this one, it’s available to play on PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

 Spiritfarer

If you’re looking for a game with a deeper and more meaningful message this Valentine’s Day then this one’s for you. It tackles the difficult topic of grief; the main character Stella helps spirits cross over into the afterlife by making them comfortable and at peace with their lives left behind. The game is full of beautiful artistic visuals and your partner can join in as Stella’s sidekick, Daffodil. This game could be a great way to open a portal of communication and encourage more intimate conversations thisValentine’s Day. If this sounds like something you need, Spiritfarer is available to play on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Mac, Windows, and Google Stadia.

 Unravel Two

Full of friendly characters and fulfilling relationships,Unravel Two is a heartfelt Story time game that could be perfect for yourValentines date. You need to support each other as you encounter tricky challenges within the enchanting woods inspired by Scandinavian locations.Solving puzzles will help you to transform a cold and imposing world into a beautiful blooming landscape. Overcoming the intimidating monsters creates a bonding experience as you celebrate your teamwork and your synchronisation. UnravelTwo is a great game for couples that might have different abilities with gaming, it’s available to play on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
